Nekoosa GXP550 Application Tape is the medium-tack grade in Nekoosa's PerfectTear line — a standard-grade saturated paper premask that serves as the everyday workhorse for cut-vinyl transfer. The balanced latex (rubber-based) pressure-sensitive adhesive gives enough grab to lift standard weeded graphics cleanly off the liner, yet stays gentle enough to release without distorting or pre-lifting thinner films. It's the safe default for mid-size lettering and decals where high tack would be overkill.

Ideal For

General cut-vinyl lettering and logos, decals and stickers, die-cut letters and emblems, screen-printed and digital graphics, and wall vinyl — the broad middle of daily sign-shop transfer work across most calendered and cast films.

Medium tack is the general-purpose choice. For intricate, fine-detail cuts or reflective and high-texture films that need extra grab, step up to GXP575 (High Tack); for very thin or delicate vinyls, a low-tack grade reduces the risk of pre-lifting media off the liner.
